Practical philosophy is at the heart of this triad of treasure troves. For philosophy helps us aim, and science helps us get there.

It is at the cornerstone of all the great (business)men's libraries. It relates the micro to the macro, and is capable of translating the daily battles experienced in the arena, into memorable aphorisms for the masses. But a pithy quote or two cannot subsume the mental heritage of our race; we must engage in daily knowledge-acquisition and error-correction in order to progress: our current state of technology is proof of this.

Technology is the application of science towards the improvement of the human condition. The universal reach of our best explanations (such as our scientific and mathematical laws) are an example of the lasting impact we humans have had in the universe. For civilizations may fall, but our greatest ideas have survived every war. The industrial revolution is an example of what happens when an age of error-correction is in full-effect. From steam to electric, digital to AI — the smart manufacturing age is seeing exciting progress as one of the most important industries in America's fight towards maintaining our technological victory.
